Rather, they are an alternative to a divorce attorney who offer professional, objective, and non-bias counseling to help couples dissolve a relationship with less acrimony and more equanimity than is common in divorce lawsuits. *This is not a service covered by insurance.

Guardian Ad Litem

  • A Guardian Ad Litem is often referred to as a GAL and can help the goal of advocating for a child's best interest in the court of law. In most cases, a judge will appoint a GAL when two parties cannot come to a mutual agreement about a parenting or child related issue. The primary role and responsibility of a GAL is to identify and communicate to the court the best interest of the child without being bound to the child's or the parties interests or personal preferences. *This service is not covered by insurance and will require arrangement of payment upon hire and acceptance of a given case.

Forensic Assessments

  •  Have you been involved in a case that needs further psychological assessment? I provide in depth, systematic evaluation of defendants, witnesses, or offenders for the purpose of informing the court about such issues as competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and risk assessment.

Has conflict in your relationship resulted in legal issues?  Intimate partner violence (IPV) is abuse or aggression that occurs in a romantic relationship. “Intimate partner” refers to both current and former spouses and dating partners. IPV can vary in how often it happens and how severe it is. It can range from one episode of violence that could have lasting impact to chronic and severe episodes over multiple years. Let me help you find ways to learn conflict resolution skills, de-escalation, assertiveness training, anger management and more to achieve the relationships you deserve to have in the future.

Divorce can be a lengthy, arduous process in which you feel overwhelmed, confused, angry, hurt, disappointed, scared, ashamed, grief, and loss.  It can be hard to navigate the big decisions such as your living situation, finances, child custody, visitation and the like. Divorce can be mutual or high conflict, but having support and guidance makes all the difference. Mediation/Divorce Counseling focused on family can give you, your partner, and your children an opportunity to share feelings and discuss how to move through this transition with as much compassion and support as possible.

I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

  • Critical Incident Debriefing is a planned and strategic process that promotes resiliency, recovery and wellness for individuals, first responders, school systems, and company employers who have been exposed to higher levels of stress and/or trauma. Ideally, the debriefing is completed within 24 to 72 hours of the event. Call to schedule your session or to request on-site debriefing for your educators, staff, students, and/or community.

 Seeking independent, fully licensed, LCSW's for private practice in Vernon. Flexible schedule, make your own hours. Work remote or from your very own fully furnished office space at the practice! All billing, marketing, and referrals are provided. Will pay for CEU's during the year. Will be provided with monthly bonuses. Work as much or as little as you desire. If you want to work for a great practice that has a great reputation, while building your own clinical experience, this is the position for you! This is a 1099 Contract Position. Lot's of potential to grow! Get paid weekly.

Cancellation Policy

The practice has a strict No-Show/Cancellation policy to ensure there is a commitment to our mutual time. I understand your time is valuable and will make attempts to accommodate when possible; however, all cancellations must be made within 24 hours to avoid a cancellation fee. No-show appointments will accrue an automatic charge for the session as per the practice policy.
