My name is Erica Iyamu-Osagie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing psychotherapy for over 12 years with child, adolescent and adult populations in various mental health settings including residential, inpatient and individual & group OP settings. I attended the University of Connecticut where I obtained my bachelor’s degree, which led me to the University of Connecticut School of Social Work where I obtained a MSW degree specializing in social work policy and international social work. I have a unique interest in providing individual and group supportive & psychotherapy for older adolescent, collegiate and adult populations who may struggle with depression, trauma, PTSD, internalized and somatic disorders, substance use, transitional issues and other challenges. I possess a heightened respect for cultural relativism and believe that a person's culture sets their foundation. I am highly skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care (TIC), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Process/Psychodynamic Therapy and anger management. I am thrilled to join Andrea Quick Counseling & Mediation and I hope to assist people in strengthening their emotional health by encouraging them to become the best version of themselves.
I’m here to offer you supportive, gentle, and private meetings for individuals, groups, and companies in conversation. Together, we will create an affirming, inclusive space for you to share, process, and integrate your grief experiences.
